Gratitude For The Bruises Poetry Show Bamenda
A Personal Note of Gratitude
To Everyone Who Made Magic,
I am still struggling to find the words that can fully capture the profound beauty and healing of this past Sunday, November 9th, 2025. Some experiences are more than just events; they are landmarks for the soul. This was one of them.
From the depths of my heart, I thank the creator, the source, for this vision. The vision to create a space where pain could be acknowledged and transformed through art was nothing short of revolutionary. Thank you for helping see the need for a sanctuary, and with unwavering determination.
To the phenomenal artists— Ringnwi Charles Zita Light, AYEAH Leonnette, Infinite Keshiel, Fokumlah Magloire Babila, Diane Tsakeng Dongmo, DePreacher, and Afanyu HumlandMusic Yembe Nfor—you were the architects of our healing. You didn't just perform; you poured your souls onto that stage. Your words were not just spoken; they were felt. Your melodies were not just heard; they seeped into our bones, shaking loose old sorrows and replacing them with a rhythm of hope. You took our collective bruises and, with breathtaking talent, began the gentle work of turning them into scars—signs not of ongoing pain, but of survival and strength.
To every single person in the audience—my friends, my fellow healers—thank you. Your energy was the final, essential ingredient. You did not just watch; you participated. You listened intently, you felt deeply, and you shared your smiles and your tears openly. In your faces, I saw the journey from frowning to happiness, from guarded to free. You created a circle of empathy that made every performance sacred.
A special, personal thanks to Nogning Armelle, Chutio Kouamo Arnaud, Ordriano Cvo Ordrell, Chrystaline, Lanjo Neindefoh Lanjo, Favour, Tikum Titus Akuro, Bakah Derick Aalam, @Waa Clotilda and so many others for your vibrant presence.
My gratitude also extends to the media teams— Testifying photography Abakwa TV, Gpmedia, Global Promotion Media Miguel Splash of Mignature, and all—for ensuring that the echoes of this night will not be forgotten. You are the storytellers who help our light shine further.
Sunday, we proved that in a world often filled with noise, the harmonious power of music and spoken word can be the most potent medicine. We created a Sunday like no other, a testament to the resilience and beauty of our community.
