Mottanni Brings Poetry for Change to Behind Che Junction: Two Days of Art, Awareness, and Community Action

BAMENDA, CAMEROON — August 2026

Award-winning spoken word artist Mottanni (Tanni Desmond Awa) is set to perform at the next stop of the Bafana Pro Entertainment Tour, taking place at Behind Che Junction, Bamenda, on August 15th and 16th, 2026.

The tour, powered by Bafana Pro Entertainment in partnership with Abakwa TV, continues its mission to bring art, music, and community engagement to the people of Bamenda—one junction at a time.

A Performance with Purpose
Mottanni will share the stage with fellow spoken word artist Medine Yahje to address two critical social issues affecting communities across Cameroon: cyber crime and child abuse.

Through the power of poetry, Mottanni will give voice to the voiceless, challenge injustice, and inspire action. His performance is expected to be a highlight of the weekend, blending powerful storytelling with a call to awareness and change.

Art is not just entertainment—it is a tool for healing, awareness, and transformation. I am honoured to use my voice to speak on cyber crime and child abuse, issues that affect our communities in silence. This is why I do what I do.

— Mottanni
