Mottanni Inspires Graduates From The Grace Lumiere Bridal Fashion Institute

On Sunday, June 28, 2026, award-winning spoken word artist Mottanni (Tanni Desmond Awa) graced the closing ceremony of the Grace Lumiere Bridal Fashion Institute as a guest speaker and performer. The event, held at Ngeng Junction, Bamenda, marked a significant milestone for the graduating class—a moment of celebration, reflection, and anticipation for the journeys ahead.

Addressing the graduates with heartfelt sincerity, Mottanni spoke candidly about the challenges they will face beyond the walls of their institution. He encouraged them to remain steadfast in their pursuits, reminding them that success is not a destination but a journey that requires endurance, resilience, and unwavering faith.

"Only he who endures till the end gets the reward of success."
His words resonated deeply with the audience, offering both encouragement and a call to action—a reminder that the road to greatness is often paved with obstacles, but those who persevere will ultimately triumph.

Following his speech, Mottanni took the stage to perform his powerful spoken word piece What More—an inspiring tribute to the power of not giving up. Drawing from the lives of history's greatest overcomers—Nelson Mandela, Thomas Edison, Nick Vujicic, the Wright Brothers, Joyce Meyer, and others—the poem reminded the graduates that their present circumstances do not define their destiny.

"What more do you need to believe that you can rise? Your storm is preparing you for your greatness."
The performance received a standing ovation from the graduates and guests, a testament to the power of Mottanni's words and the deep resonance of his message with the audience.
